Well DRUZ I'm gonna be honest it is a vibration prone system, So I think like someone posted earlier I may need to have the stock hangers welded on the mufflers also, The hangers they provide just dont have enough rubber to prevent vibrations.

About the tubular crossmember I was asking Cory if he still had an extra around, because the crossmember vibration is annoying also.

I was at Advance Auto parts and found an exhaust hanger very similar to the hangers Pypes includes with their set, but the part that gets bolted to the frame is all rubber (cut up old tire). I put them on, did some more clearencing on the crossmember and it seems to make a differance with the vibration in the car. I am planning to weld the original muffler hangers to the Pypes mufflers, but in the mean time I thought the rubber hangers would work. I only drove around the block, but so far so good.

So here is my latest: I have my welder @ work making the small plates and hangers on the Pypes mufflers. He recommends doing this over cutting the ones off my old Hookers since those are steel and just working with stainless is easier to weld quick.
So I owe him!! I will have pics once he is done maybe today or tomorrow.

I agree! I need a bit more clearance from the driver's side of the crossmember for the pipe to be tucked up more. Otherwise I did cut 1/2" off the pass side of the fwd piece of the x-pipe.
I want to notch a piece off the crossmeber-THOUGHTS

Thumbs up

I have it all installed. I could not notch out much of the crossmember since I was under the car and was satisfied with how close the front of the x-pipe was to the crossmember. If I did have a tubular crossmember it would be perfect but if I ever blow my trans I will definitley put that on the tab.
I am trimming the tips so nothing is visible(like my Hooker kit) and have pics of the kit. And I hope for some video as I post the pics. Sounded good, tomorrow morning I will take a drive longer than normal to observe. Installation was good-most have trimmed the pass piece on the x-pipe and the kit and clamps are stainless so I am happy living a mile off the ocean!
