Default 64 Impala front bucket swivel seat option

I am trying to win a small bet I am having with a friend. We recently attended a local car show. I said that when I was a kid living in Great Falls, Montana In the 61-65 era I had a friend that had a 64 Impala SS. To my recollection this particular car had a front drivers bucket seat that would turn 90 degrees so that the driver had easy ingress/egress for comfort. I suppose this was more so for the ladies of the era.

Is there anyone that can confirm or deny this was available in those years or not. Or is my memory just playing tricks on me and I may be thinking of a different car altogether? Thanks for any input. JS

It was not available in the 60s. It did appear in the 70s, and was (and still is) a popular mod in other cars. It was in the 73-77 Monte Carlo:

Is it possible that, while not a factory option, it was available in the aftermarket in the 60s?

Thank you for the input. I guess I lost my bet. Too bad I can't contact the original owner any more. Perhaps I just had the wrong car model on my mind as I was only in Jr High at the time. JS
