Default 4.10 guys

i'm wanting to know.. what type of mph are you hitting at the top of 3rd?

also at what rpm and your tire diameter would help.

With factory 27" tall tires, you should be able to hit 118 mph in 3rd gear with 4.10s and no converter slip at 6000 RPM.

Here's a table that I got from: http://www.f-body.org/gears/

mr nab!

yeah my concern is that ive got 28" street radials, 4.10s, 4000ss and running right up to 7000ish...

i Thought i hit 125ish at one point, but i found an end-of-season video showing 110 on the z28 cluster.

Here's the table from 6000 - 7000 RPM w/ 28" tires and 4L60E.
Looks like you can hit 142 mph w/ no convertert slip but a 4000 stall will slip quite a bit, so your probably limited to 125 mph or so like you stated.

6000 40 75 122 174
6100 41 77 124 177
6200 41 78 126 180
6300 42 79 128 183
6400 42 80 130 186
6500 43 82 132 189
6600 44 83 134 192
6700 44 84 136 194
6800 45 85 138 197
6900 46 87 140 200
7000 46 88 142 203
