Default ZQ8 bump stops

these things self destruct after 2 years. stock height, they just get smashed apart. Both sides.
time to start cutting them down.

I've had absolutely no issues with the ones I've installed on our 3 cars, and they've been in use since 2005. Two of the cars are lowered, one is driven daily, year round. None were cut down.

I'll take pictures when I pull it out.
all stock 96 SS. 100,000 miles plus. Bilstein sport shocks.

the passenger side I replaced 6 months ago, and now the drivers side smashed open.

I do run slight negative camber, so maybe that changes the geometry somewhat....

This time I will trim them to the line.

I have the same set up of H & R springs and Bilstein shocks on my 95 SS. The ZQ8's will not fit in the same place as the OEM stops. No clearance..Unless I trim them down which kind of defeats the purpose to me...
I'm pretty sure the H & R's have sagged over the years (10-12)...Not a lot of miles but just sitting on them....

Default ZQ8 bump stops

It's important the stops not contact frame when at rest.
