Hey guys, I can't find my old AC line I bent around for my flowtech headers. I bent up a new one to replace it as it was leaking and I ripped it out sometime last year.
Anyway, I don't have the pressure switch that goes on the hose shown as figure 9 on this diagram as it was on the old line. http://parts.nalleygmc.com/showAssem...&searchString= Expensive little bugger. I don't have a wiring diagram either, but I am guessing that is a high pressure cut off that has a ground/power and signal wire to PCM. I am also guessing that I wont be able to get my AC compressor to cycle without that in place? I have been trying to get the compressor to cycle with no avail. Jumped relay, fuse is good...no power at AC clutch switch pigtail. I will probably try to jump that next but I am guessing it will work (as it worked fine last year) and I just wont get voltage to there without the high pressure switch being in place. Without a wiring diagram I can't be sure if this line of thinking is accurate though. Any help is appreciated!

that switch is actually a pressure sensor for input to the pcm so it can control the ac clutch and turn on the rad fans when required.
sooooo, not much choice unless you want to do alot of rewiring to eliminate it and maybe wind up with a funky ac system or do without ac.

Thanks Pogo, I actually found the line and installed the switch...
Funny thing, now the AC compressor cycles non stop (unless you turn the ac off). Hmmm. IT all worked fine just last year other than a leaky hose. God knows why the compressor wasn't cycling before...I had voltage at the relay, voltage at the pressure switch at the dryer, clutch worked when jumped, had enough pressure in dryer to cycle AC (jumped the switch anyway and it still didn't work). Finally I jump the relay for the third or fourth time and it worked, I got voltage at the clutch pigtail. Put the relay back in, magically it works again. WTF lol First I can't get it on, now I can't get it off. I know, sounds like a personal problem.

Okay....unplugged the high temp 3 wire switch...plugged it back in. Now it cycles on and off as it should.
Yet another problem fixes itself (wtf) lol.
