Talking Sunday fun-day in the kayak!

Had ourselves a Sunday fun-day this weekend. I was out kayaking on Madison Lake, Minnesota and some of my friends were cruising around in their pontoon (coincidence). We met up and put the kayak on the front of the 'toon and chilled for awhile. Decided it would be a great idea to be towed around in my kayak and see how it went. Only went to about 25mph because it wasn't much of a boat and didn't want to get too wicked right away.

It was awesome! I'd love to do it again behind a faster boat. If the DNR stopped us we were going to say I ran out of gas!

If you've ever been in a kayak you know how stable they are. As long as you use your hips you can tip it pretty far before worrying about water coming in. The paddle didn't help a whole lot but when taking turns it made a difference.. Going to fast to really use it but it worked as a stabilizer if you were going too far.

Just had to share that. Neither of us planned on meeting up but the day turned out great. High 80s all day with plenty of sun. I know I'm burnt but it was fully worth it. Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend, I know I sure did!
