Default 95 9C1 LT1 injector issues...

Hey all, my '95 is having intermittent injector failure. I diagnosed this by using the stethoscope/screwdriver trick to listen, the car still has the original opti/plugs/wires and has 120k on the clock.
When I wiggle the wires for the number 7 injector, it either solves the problem or makes it come back, my question is this: Is there any other things besides bad wiring that would cause the #7 injector to not fire? By the way, #7 ohms out @12.8, the manual says 11.2-12.4, is being higher better or worse?

Thanks guys,
Tony

On a side note, is there any way to check reference voltage from the PCM to the injectors? And if so, what value would I look for?

if you wiggle the wire and it goes away/comes back, then injector wiring harness clip is bad. replace and see if problem persists.

By clip do you mean the connector that goes on top of the injector itself? Thanks.

Th clips on the injectors are known to develop a 'yawn'.

Pinching them cured a flashing MIL on my car.

yes sir. I had a miss that went away on the number 7 cylinder. Turns out the pin on the inside of the injector connector was broken, and when it would shift certain ways it wouldn't contact. Napa has a new connector..

Ok, update, got number 7 fixed and all the other injectors by bending the pins slightly on each injector top, ensuring absolute contact at all times. There is still a rolling miss, around every 10-20 engine revolutions, and doesn't seem to be a particular cylinder either. I was wiggling with wires on the coil( car off, key out)and got quite a big shock, does this mean my coil's goin' ?
I'm going to do the voltage test as mentioned in the haynes manual later today and keep it up to date,

Later,
Tony
