yeah maybe that switch is gone out or my wiring is got a short in it or something

If this is a 9c1, look for the "stealth" light switch. under the radio. Same behavior on my 1A2.

yeah sounds like "stealth" switch but wires must be crossed...won't do much good turning your digital dash off with your headlights on

yeah i have the steath switch when i hit it, it does nothing when the lights are on but it turns the digi dash off when the lights are off

try turning on the exterior lights then playing with the swithc

My dash lights go out when I turn on my lights but you can still see the digital gauges. I think its a switch as the dash lights were flickering before. My car is a 95 SS with twilight sentinal.

do you have one? because if you have the stealth switch, you shouldn't have a twightlight switch unless it was added later. but somthing could be fulty in your dimmer switch. the Twighlight sentinal is meant to turn your headlights on automaticaly when the sun goes down.
