Nope, I strongly dislike lifted cars. If I had to lift mine I would've just went with smaller wheels. The reason Box Chevys are so popular is because they have huge wheelwells and sit the best on big wheels with no lift kit needed.

Don't GRIND whitewalls, unless you want them to turn brown permanently before the season ends.
This public service announcement has been brought to you by the "I'm getting tired of saying the same thing over and over society." Thank you buh-bye.

haha true. I love the patina look, but there are some spots that I absolutely need to fix before they become holes. Surface rust, sure, fine, but not rot. The reason the car is a few different colors is where I cleaned up a few of the really, really bad areas before winter hit. The car was under a tree (but luckily on pavement) for 3+ years before I got it, so there is a lot of body rust in odd places, along with the burned off paint.

Not that I've found. I think there was one a few years back that never got off the ground. There just aren't really that many enthusiastic box owners, from what I've seen. The ones that are have found this site and lurk here haha.

Just got it running on the LT1 yesterday, it's a lot more fun than the Olds 307 ever could have been. Just a few more bugs to work out and I'll be set for a while
