Default painted hood pad

this was my project for part of the weekend.i removed my hood pad and painted it saten brown(car is gold) then hand painted the deer on.i think it turned out pretty good.

Real nice job with the hand painting, that will add a lot when you pop the hood.

Hood pad? Is that the shredded thing that falls apart all over my engines? lol.

Yes it is.if you catch it before it gets to that point it can be freshen up.or they still sell them at the dealership,paint it black and it will look new for years to come.

I'm not worried about mine. My S10's and Pathfinder's both look really raggedy lol. The caprice's looks much better and it's 28 years old lol.
