Default help getting into the trunk of my box caprice

I have an 89 chevy caprice ..it doesn't have an electric switch to pop the trunk open. I don't have the keys for it either...I was trying to see the best way of. Opening the trunk without damaging it.

Any help would be nessasary...I want to rekey the car too.

if it has a license plate light above the plate you might try removing the lens and light.
then use a long screwdriver thru the opening and hit the trunk release from inside.

A locksmith can make you a key on the spot. If you don't want to damage anything, that's you best bet.

I'm gonna try to hit the release with the screwdriver first...I just want to see what's inside before I sell it

Remove back seat long arms and long flat screwdriver you can pop trunk. Most likely the key has been changed beforer i wouldnt count on dealer way. The liscene light is the easiest though it may be riveted.

I'd go this route.
