Does any one know if 2001 Tahoe 5.3 engine will work correct with 95 Caprice 4L60E?
I mean what kind of differeces has Caprice 4l60E and 4L60E with separate bellhousing? I bought my LM7 engine more than a year ago and still unable to find 4L60E with separate bellhousing

First you will need to be sure the 4l603 has the later style plug on it, and then theres an adapter that can be purchased from GM or Hughes Performance.

I have an 01 motor in my 94 Silvy with a 94 trans. Plugged right in. Motor fits well, intake requries body mods to fit. Run a car intake.

Have you reflashed the ECM? or you just use Silvy's ECM as is?

I used the 2001 Silvy engine harness. When I had the motor in my 93 2WD Sierra, I used an LS trans and could use the ECCC. When I put the motor into my 94 Z71, I kept the stock trans and shut the ECCC function off in the cal. Most tuners can do that for you pretty easy.

Pull the transmission oil pump off. there should be the letters PWM in raised print on the pump. If it is Pulse Width Modulated, the PWM sign will be on the pump.

Don't need to pull the pump, just need to pull the torque converter. the PWM marking is visible on the front face of the pump.
