Default New Tubular Front Control Arms

Hi all,

I want to give you the first look at a new product that we've been working on - lower cost Tubular Front Control Arms for the 1994-96 Impala SS and 1994-96 Caprice. Tubular control arms not only look great - they upgrade your car with better bushings and strengthen your suspension with heavy duty steel tubing (keep in mind, your stock control arms are 15 years old - at best!). These will work with any coil spring or QA1-style coil over setup. These arms cost almost 25% less than our other tubular arms. The main difference is that they use polyurethane bushings instead of acetal and use a standard steel cross shaft instead of stainless steel (which is mainly for "bling").

Our Tubular Front Control Arms replace your old, questionable stock stamped steel arms with a brand new, MIG-welded, Made in the USA set of Tubular Steel arms! The uppers come with near-zero deflection polyurethane bushings, heavy duty billet steel cross shafts, and our high strength ball joints. The lowers are also built from heavy duty DOM tubing to support the weight of our big cars even under the harshest conditions. They come pre-assembled with polyurethane bushings and our heavy duty ball joints.

At this point, we are only offering a 9/16" lower ball joint version, so this won't work with late '95 and all '96 9C1 police cars or 1A2 wagons. We may come out with a 5/8" version at some point, but with the 5/8" spindles running out, it's not a high priority.

Prices are as follows:

Upper Arms - $359/pair
Lower Arms - $549/pair

You can order them on our brand new website - Proforged - here:

Zack, You guys used to offer a 5/8" lower Control arm. Do you have any of those older units left in stock and would you be going to clearence those sometime maybe and give us a good price??

I have the 5/8 knuckles but can't afford to do the mod yet so I'm just going with the rebulid kit I bought from you with 9/16ers for now. Hopefully the 5/8" become available at some point or if you are looking to sell off some old stock, I need to start scrounging up some funds.

We still have the 5/8" lower Speedtech arm - we just don't have it available for our new "budget" series.

Unfortunately, we drop ship the Speedtech arms so we don't have any 5/8" arms in stock or on sale.

Hope this helps!

They are MIG-welded DOM tubing - don't have the grade off the top of my head. They are exponentially stronger than the stock arm.
