Default QaloSS’ Impala SS Handbook

OK so here's the deal people. I'm helping update the "QaloSS’ Impala SS Handbook". I'm keeping the theme of the new Handbook a lot like the original, based mostly on 1994-1996 Impala. Although there are parts for the Caprice there isn't much on wagons. I'm not trying to exclude anyone, just trying to cover the more common aspects of the B-Body and also giving the Handbook a much needed overhaul and updating. This new version of the Handbook is NOT meant to replace the forum. It's just a place for all stickies and useful information to be located on your own computer or if printed out in the shop.

I just need a couple things from the forum at this point. I'm sure that more will creep up.

1. What would you like to have added into the Handbook?

2. I'd like to get some tutorials with good clear pictures.

I'll keep this post updated as to what I'm looking for so check back often.

I can be reached at the following email address.

Thanks Ash for taking this on, wish I could of helped more, but I am sure that it is going to be great. Let me know if you need more from me and I will see what I can do.

Not just because I compiled all of the material into a document from the YouTube video on the Opti/ABITS distributor, but I think there is really A LOT of good diagnostic information in that document I made that is helpful to noobs as well as veterans.

P.S. I still have all of the raw data (Pics & text) on my laptop if that would be easier for you to add to the handbook

ALF - You have about thirty minutes to look over the original. Just picking, look over it for a few days or however long it takes. I have plenty to do so I doubt I'll be finished within a few weeks.

Mike - I've already added it in there!

in my opinion the window roller fix is out of date and could use an update using the sticky we now have....
there are some gotcha's that no one mentions but all admit...happened in my thread of when i did this job.
thanx again, i will start chapter 3 reading later...

Just thought about this a little more. I think Sherlock9C1's write-up on how to flush a transmission, and the "Big-3" (GND & + cables) would be a great addition as well.

Kudos for taking on this project! I can't wait to see the revised version, especially with all the new and addtional mods people have contributed through out the years.

Yeah it was really cool of the original writer of the manual to send me the word document of it to modify it, as some can tell I got swamped with a ton of other stuff and Ash had gotten a hold of me to see if he could help, well he ran with it, which is awesome. I can't wait either. CandiSS originally had the idea to get it updated and we went from there.
