I don't know anything about budget gears. So how do these budget gears compare to an 410 Eaton posi with all the goodies?

Or perhaps the better question is what's the best price I could get on that in addition to a pair of Moser Axles. I'm in no rush. I am still staying in Washington my SS is parked in my garage in Central Florida with a spare rear getting ready to be sent out for powder coat.

So.... I'm in no rush. Or if you or anyone can tell me who to contact that would be cool. Lmk. Thanks.

The "Budget" part being offered is the new posi not the gears. All prices are listed on the main page. The gears are all Yukon and are OEM replacement. The only axles we have available are the Yukon brand.

As for signing up, we need everyone interested to call your order in. it is the only way we can accurately track. Thanks.

What is the deal with the "budget posi"? What brand is it? Is it any good? Sorry to ask, but this is the first I have heard of this. How does it compare to the Eaton?

Dan, refresh my memory. Are 4.10's ABS friendly, is there a reluctor available?

I did 3.73's years ago, but wishing I went with 4.10's.

Scoob- Dan can confirm, but I was told that Bob Shirley is the only one that can make or has in stock 4.10 and up reluctors for our cars. And yes they do work.

This is also an old post but I can do some discounting if ordered by the end of this month/year.

It looks like I missed some questions above.

All the info for the Budget posi is listed in this thread. How does it compare to an Eaton, I honestly don't know as I have never even seen one in person.

As for the 4.10 gears. You have two choices:

1. Order OEM gears for an additional $150.00 plus and Bob Shirley's stock fitting ABS ring.
2. Order the Yukon gears and Bob Shirley's custom fitting ABS ring for non-ABS ready gears.
