Does any one here have these heads? I'm thinking of building a 355 or a 383 and was just wondering how good are they as far as racing and performance is concerned ? They have a 170 cc intake on them. Thanks

Not a good choice at all unless you get them for free and have them worked over.
Better option, GM stock castings worked over by AI or LE.

They are a very good solid upgrade replacement bolt-on for a 350. Much better than stock and at a good price. For a 383 you will want to get them ported. In that case you will have better luck buying prepped AI or Lloyd Eliott LT1 heads with their matching valve tranes. BUT if you are a serious racer and performance centric get Trick Flow or other aftermarket reworked head. Dan
