Default wagon spotted

saw this guy the other day when I was visiting my fiancee, and we were on our way to go eat lunch. I followed him in traffic for like a mile till he pulled in a place so I could get a good look at it, the owner had already gone inside by the time I caught up with him so I did not get to talk to him about it.

I loved how it looked, he had a lot of little things done, like shaved rack. The filler plates were not welded in though, looked like it was bolted in or something.

we rolled up to it and the fiancee said, "Ooo, I like how the back looks, can we do that to ours?" ha ha I love this women. I told her, yes, yes we can.

I love the tag too.

Couple things, only a single exhaust (never got close enough to hear it)
and then saw this too, anyone know what this is about?

It is about a $25,000 engine that makes a lot of horsepower.

For a parts list, check Plenty of good parts

Singles can flow a lot of exhaust if they are big enough. You didn't look under the car did you?

All else equal, a single 3" exhaust flows about as well as a dual 2.50".

Which one's lighter?

The 3 inch will weigh about 2/3 of what the dual 2.5 inch.

Think of it as a pizza; a 15 inch pizza has about twice the amount of food as a 12 inch. If you have just the crust, the 15 has only 9 inches more crust than one 12. The 15 has about 45 inches of crust , and the 2, 12s have 72 inches. 45/72 equals a little less than 2/3.

From what I can see, about 610 hp and 520 lb/ft for $29,900 installed in your Corvette... I bet that wagon can get out of its own way

That's a nice car...

However, I find myself looking at the reflection in the paint more than I'm looking at the car... I don't like those little Scion boxes, so I never thought I'd look at one and think "Whoa, that's kinda cool!"

It is cool.
The "Corvette-Chaser" has been around for a while, the owner is a columnist for Car and Driver unless he finally sold it.

I remember that thing! Always loved it.

I for one think we need a few pics of the army green Scion. I saw the iron cross on it and said "ok...gotta see a fee more pics of that"
