Proven enough that multiple people have asked how to build it and a retired GM racing engineer took pictures and measurements and made his own.

I really like the looks of the hood. Sorry to hear about the ship damage but that refunded money could go to your body guy. PLEASE post up some pics of the underside of the hood. Does it look like the Stock Hood Insulator pad will mount to it? What do you think of the overall quality of the hood and does it look like they just welded a scoop onto a stock hood or was the entire hood molded this way? I do like how they finished up the back cowl area. looks very clean. Could be a good candidate for some Z34 Vents....hmmmmm?

Not too concerned with the Cowl Indiction part of it as much as the looks. My car goes fast, but it weighs over 2 Tons I like the look and function of my stock/modified air inlet setup and not looking to change that but enhance it. I have some ideas for a Ram Air type setup to push some more air up into the stock air box area and do it a little discretely.

Grant.
Lookin forward to seeing that hood with some better angled pics. Should be nice.
that would be correct... it may be fine for now, but you definitely want different hood struts. they will crack that "GARBAGE" hood of yours, since its made out of the great fiberglass. also, invest in some fiberglass repair kit. the corners of that hood will chip

How about some pics of underneath the hood? Curious to see the possibilities of moving the air from the cowl to the front.

The E-bay seller says the top piece is a new 1 piece stamping mated to a factory style underside. I also really like this hood and would like to get one, but I'm worried that is is the same quality as most of the Chinese made thin sheetmetal replacement hoods that you see everywhere since the GM hoods are no longer made. I don't care if the factory hood pad or light can't be mounted, I just want a good looking quality made hood that fits nice and needs minimal prep before paint.

Please post some pics of the underside and tell us how well it fits. How thick is the sheetmetal compared to stock?

Steve
