Trans went out in the fleet wood last week ( rebuilt 2 years ago with less then 20000 miles). I was upset mostly cause I didn't get a warning just stopped pullin all at once. Pulled it out yesterday thinking it may just need a torque converter cause I had a knocking sound from the front of the trans. After getting the trans out I spent the next hr prying and beating on the converter with a 8 ft long 2x4. Finally got it off notice the snout of the convert was missing a section and looks like the front pump is stripped. Would the trans hold up if i replace the pumpand get a new converter or should it be completely rebuilt?

You might want to consider a rebuild, just to see if anything else is damaged. You'll also have metallic debris in the rest of the transmission...
