Ok here is the deal, I am thinking about a 09 G8 GT with an automatic. My current daily is a 2010 Impala LT, there is nothing wrong with it. It truly meets my needs, great on gas and hauls me and the family aroud in comfort. However, in an effort to get my man card back, I am looking at something a little better. The wife is on board, I spent a lot of time reasearching the G8 yesterday on line and it seems to offer a lot of bang for the buck. In my neck of the woods it can probably be had for 20 to 22k What say you all?

Why the hesitation? Unless your debating on a PPV(new caprice) or a the upcoming SS, I dont see the conundrum. A G8 is more along the lines of a "true" impala anyway. Plus a GT is gonna be a collectors item soon so your either gonna add value to your investment or you wont loose that much. Buy it. Put a full exhaust on it and put supercharger on it when u pay it off and call it a day.

I would get the G8, sell the mopar, keep the impala as a dd and hop up the G8.

Not that liquid, to make it make sense, 3yrs left on the Tahoe and 4yrs left on the Impala. The Charger and the Mustang are mine but those r not up for consideration. I would move the Tahoe and the Impala, but negative equity is the problem.

Now might not be the best time, considering the Tahoe & Impala..As soon as you can get out from underneath them, pull the lever on that G8 GT, you're going to love it...You won't be getting a gas saver to be sure, but you won't care...As far as your Charger goes, if it's stock, the G8 will eat it for lunch, and poop it off a cliff.
