Default 245/50's on stock impala wheels????

I work for Bridgestone and we don't make anything to fit the stock impala wheels other than Primewell PZ-900's. Which i refuse to put on my car. The only size i can go with that i think will fit the rim is 245/50. Anyone done this? Does it look good? I really wan't some Bridgestone Turanza Plus's with the serenity technology, best tires i've ever found, problem is i either have to put 245's on or buy new rims...

They'll work, itsw just gonna look a little undersized. I sold some to a guy a year ago but I never got to see them on his car.

Put the right size tire with the right load and speed rating on your car. There are plenty of discussions here about that. 245 is too small, forget it. If you can't afford to put the right size and type of tire on your car, perhaps you should consider buying a Honda where you stand a better chance of being able to afford the right tires.

It's not a matter of price. The tires are $214 a tire after my discount. I would like to see a car with 245/50's on it. If not I will purchase a set of 18's and go with a 255/45/18.

I doubt if you'll find any, because that size is so small. The most common size is probably the 275/40-17 on stock rims.

Does anyone have a picture of 275/40's on stock tires? That's also an option. Will that fit in the front end, will they rub?

Those who run this size (including myself) are running them on all four corners without issue. There are some who run 285/40-17's, but that size has less availability from manufacturers.

use Kumho ASX or SPT's in the stock size for $139 each. They are superior to the other choices as said by many on this forum. $214 is outrageous.
