Default Lights all night

I think I have a ghost or something in my car because my interior lights come on when they want to .. LOL, but seriously my dome and interior lights flicker on and off while im driving and I can her a noise like electrical wires are touching. At first I thought it was the fuse so I replaced it, and after a while it started back up. Also my odometer dims in and out and my fuel gauge jumps all over the place. Anybody have any issues like this?

Default Interior lights are module controlled.

There is a small module on my 94 Impala SS that controls the 'auto dimming feature' of the interior lights when the car is shut off. Mine would not cut off the lights. IOW they never went out. They wouldn't come on afterwards. However I would check this module-approx. 4" by 5" green plastic box. It was in the kick panel in either the front driver's or pass. side-- it has been so long, I don't remember exactly. I THINK it was on the driver's side. If cleaning carefully with alcohol doesn't work, replace it. In the meantime, pull that fuse so you won't run down the battery.
Please note! You didn't mention what year and model B car you have and this does make a difference in the problem and solution.

I apologize...its a 96 impala ss..the electrical flickering has stopped. However, I still have an issue with my fuel gauge malfunctioning. I can hear the fuel pump priming when i turn the key so i don't think it is my pump. Im not sure if this is the sending unit or not.

check the grounds by the trunk hinges and the ones in the engine compartment that go to to the fender by the battery and driver side firewall from cylinder head.
if theres still a gauge issue read the fuel sender refurb thread in the sticky.

Also check the pin switches that are in the door jambs . . If the rubber boots are gone, they could be rusted and shorting out
