Good Luck with Pay Pal. You can file a claim and win and still not get anything. The kicker is the Person needs to have money in their Paypal account for them to "refund" you. If not, you are SOL.

  5. Any way to check WP seal after installing?

    Engine Problems/Maintenance
Here is what I have done on more seal installs than I can remember. 1) Clean up the water pump drive couple so it is clean and shiny, no rust etc. 2) Take the new seal and run your index finger around the inside of the outer yellow dust seal gently until it is around a45 degree angle. 3) slide...
  6. Where is Evap. Purge Solenoid Located?

    Engine Problems/Maintenance
You need to take off the plastic filler panel off that bolts to the inner fender and bumper. You cannot get at it by taking the battery out, it's solid metal. Disconnect the rubber hoses from the metal lines and then use a 13mm wrench, if memory serves me correct, and remover the whole...

The throttle body gaskets are a little too complex to do this. They are thin and difficult to make. Gasket kits are readily available.
  16. 96ss LT1 is the oil pump drive gear iron or steel

    Engine Performance
The only thing I've seen stock Oil Pump drives do is break or crack the retaining tang off by the bolt. Every engine I put together I take a piece of 16ga sheetmetal and make a plate to go on top. Just use the drive assy itself to trace the shape and mark the hole. Cut it out and deburr and...

  20. AN fitting question

    Misc.
You may find that the -12 stuff is too big to package in there. Just be sure to install the engine mount before you do any bending. The bypass is only for use when the engine oil is cold and to prevent the filter from blowing apart/off. Unless you plan on jumping in the car when it's 0...
