1984 Chevy Caprice Estate Wagon (blue n' wood)

Modifications

Drivetrain
stock 305. Actually happy with it. Much better than the 307 olds that came with the newer wagons. Replaced the transmission, 700-r4, previous owner welded spider gears together, that only lasted 23 miles. Replaced rear end with a parts wagon. It now has 3.42's instead of 2.73's can still knock down 18.5+mpg
Interior
stock, added power driver seat working on passenger side. Added auto dimming rear view mirror with compass.
Exterior
Custom paint, done by previous owner (he did leave the paint code on the RPO sticker!!!)
Audio
came with alpine deck and some insane tweeter horns up front. Installed amp under dash, replaced front speakers, working on more.
Suspension
heres the fun part... It has been lowered 5!! Yes 5"s. Was done by previous owner. Completely useless in New England. Plus my best bud is well.. Large and he can't ride in the front seat cause the front tires smoke!
Looks great but impractical. It needs a new frame so when I put that in I am going to lift it by putting in 3" lowering springs.
Wheel and Tire
can you say White Wall!!
