60 horses less than an LT1, probably add another second and change to the quarter mile. Call it 16.5 seconds in the low 80's.

0-60, probably at least a second slower than the LT1, call it 8.5 seconds.

If your rear gear is that high, might lose another couple of tenths on top of that.

No data to back it up, but I think my estimate is actually on the optimistic side.

Have you verified that ratio, a civi L99 with the 7.625" axle should be 2.97 or I guess some came with the 8.5" in which case 2.93 would be most likely? Either way I would put your car closer to 17 sec.since Nory is running low 16s with 3.23s(9C1 L99) dual exhaust and some other mods.

Nope it's GU2 on the label wich is the 2:73 code but the code for 2:93 is GU4. How much of a diference does the 3:23 make compared to a 2:73?

I just took a look at my SPID and 9C1.coms Spid decoder and my originally
L99 car with 7.625 rear is GW9 2.93 so I will correct myself. Everything I have read says there were no options for ration on the civi Caprice and the 9C1 ratios were based on which engine you got 3.08 for LT1 and 3.23 for L99. So now I am more curious and confused  maybe I should start a poll and see what everyone has. If you look here it says GU4 is 3.08 which contradicts what you are saying. So I have to wonder if there are some SPID decoders out on the web that disagree with eachother since the 2.97 for my car is something I looked up a couple years ago. I am looking for more info on L99 times, will post what I find.

Some L99 times.
