Hi Everyone,

I have had the pleasure of driving around a 2007 DTS for the last few days and have come to realize how great the seats are. Very comfy and supportive. They seemed to really hold you in when you would get on and pushed it on some back roads. It is the only car I have ever been in with a head rest I could use. Just really very nice seats.

Has anyone ever looked into if the seat swap could be done? I that that would be an awesome Fleetwood mod. I am anxious to hear if anyone has any ideas about it. Thanks everyone for your time and have a great night.

Those newer G-body platform seats tend to be a bit wider frame-wise than what naturally fits in the floor pan of a B or D body like this, but anything can be done with considerable work and figuring. Essentially, you'd need custom frames I believe, if the overall seat dimensions themselves fit. Same goes for the wiring and such. I believe there's one Caprice wagon around here with either DTS or Seville seats, and they look great, but it was not an overly easy swap.

That's actually why '99 and prior Pontiac Bonneville seats have become one of the most used, as the floor pan and therefore frame of those seats is an almost exact match for these cars.

The previous generation DTS bucket seats have been done but require TONS of modification.

I rented a 2006 DTS a couple of months ago and really wasn't impressed with the seats as much as the ones in the CTS.
