Local dealer has a 93 Fleetwood they have been trying to sell for sometime, but everybody wants small econoboxes or trucks around here. Tey have put new brakes all around. Everything seems to work on with just a few issue. Paint is in terrible shape, starter needs replaced (have to hit with a hammer before it starts) and there is a lot of wind noise around the sunroof and the glovebox doesn't like to close. It has 149k miles. Imnterior is pretty good, with just a few cracks in the dash. It is a ZBrougham. Thing runs great, motor/transmission, suspensions are all good and it drives like a Caddy shouls. All power accesories seem to work. Main goal is a solid driver since the tranny in my friends Ranger is more or less gone. 1200 seem like a good price?

It is worth more than $1200 in parts.. go for it, it sounds mechanically solid.

Probably going tomorrow to sede about a loan for it. They have already marked it down from 1996 and they even put new brakes all the way around. It is loaded with basically everything but CD. One question, was a sunroof even offered from the factory on the 93 Fleetwood? I didn't think a factory sunroof was an on any B-body type car. It is a full power sunroof and the installation looks VERY factory and it works perfect, just a lot of wind noise.

If you have the vanity mirrors for the rear passengers on the roof, then it is an aftermarket sunroof.

No vanity mirrors in a Brougham packaged car with a sunroof=factory.

^^Right on. Yes, they came from the factory in the Cadillac, and are signified by having no rear seat mirrors. Otherwise, it's aftermarket, which is more common.

The dealer still sells the seal that goes around the moonroof glass. that would considerably ut down on that wind noise. Or do what i do turn up the radio, and floor it... :D
