It has a diagnostic connector but its not OBD1.

Its OBD1, 91-93 are the straight-up OBD1 years for Bbodies. You can use the paper-clip test on your car and actually pull the codes, unlike the 94-95 cars.

I have the data cable and older laptop I use to check the stats on my 92 wagon

There´s an adapter cable for USB if your laptop doesn´t have that old serial port anymore. These often come with some small software that helps you assign com ports to to USB.

I picked up the 92 wagon last night. I have an OTC 4000 Enhanced scanner that worked on my 94. I'll plug that in and try it. I also have an OBD1 adapter for the PC but was never able to make it work on the 94. I'll try it again on this.

Get EBL flash. Way better than codes ever can be.

My CTS went bad and caused the car to run like piss, never put out a code (dont know if there is one) but EBL did say the car thought it was 32 degrees. Mind you it was over 100 that day. Replaced it bam done.

No guess work on anything, I see what the ECM sees.

But its OBD1 LOL.
