I'm Selling Probably one of the nicest Chevrolet 96 Impala SS's you will ever find. this Low Mileage {37k miles} Dark cherry Metallic Impala SS demands attention everywhere it goes, numerous compliments. Original Paint still shines like new, interior is immaculate and all original. This Car Is lowered on 22" Color matched Asanti Wheels. Besides a few cosmetic tasteful upgrades, this car is all stock. The "1996" Impala has been one of the most sought out for vehicle for 2 decades and its not slowing down. Less an Less clean SS's on the road each day. It has its original LT1 corvette engine, these 4200 boats that can hit 145mph stock have an old school look and feel with all the amenity's of a new car {power doors/locks/ac/heater/cd/ power seat etc}. A timeless beauty that will for ever hold its value.

Good luck with the sale of what looks to be a very nice low mile SS

FWIW the car does not have a "Corvette" engine per say, GM had the LT1 in several platforms 93-96. The "Corvette" version was unique in that it has 4 bolt mains. Your SS does not.

B-body's (SS, Caprice, Road Master) all had iron head LT1's (even the smaller L99 engine also). The F-body & Corvette had AL heads. All had a different cam grind

The SS also has a speed limiter set at 154 (IIRC) as it came with Z rated tires. Some claim to hit that speed. From personal experience (bone stock SS at the time) I know the car goes to what the speedo says "150 MPH"......and was still pulling :)
