I soliciting information from you guys on what it would take to make a 2005 C6 Corvette steering wheel work in my 96 imp. I want the airbag and horn to work for obvios reasons. Let me know what you guys think.

Most GM airbag setups 2001 and newer are dual stage setups so the air bag will not work with our cars, UNLESS you were to transfer the WHOLE airbag system over as well, which I don't know how feasible that would be. Now if there happens to be an airbag from a 2000 which will fit that steering wheel then you should be good to go. A similiar situation to the 2000+ Monte Carlo steering wheels, you can use a steering wheel from a 2000 to 2005 but you have to use an airbag from a 2000 to make it work properly. - Peter

Cant help you with the airbag wiring but its a cool idea. Keep us posted if you get it to work.
