Even though I lost in the first round, that was fun! I had never run on a Pro Tree before this race. I ran Rick Mathews in the 1st round. We had identical reaction times, he had a better 60-foot and I had more MPH through the traps and was running him down. Another 5 feet and I would have had him. His 13.13 beat my 13.15 by 0.0182 seconds. That was a close race!

I might have to try Super Natural in Atlanta at SSHS7 this year. Unless I try Super Pro on the Spray. :D

What happened in the Super Pro class  ?

The times and trap speeds seem unusually low
?????

Bad (hot/humid) weather?
Bad track?

somebody said it was freakin HOT. Like over 100* hot.

Hmm... the 2nd fastest NA car was a stock short block 350... hmm....

That's qualified heads up racing for you.
Many times the #1 qualifier does not win, (sometimes they do).

The Super Pro and Super Natural results show that you should always at least show up and try to qualify. You might win.

Well, I promised Super Sport round by round.
Just know that Super sport will only have car number and not driver names. I don't have a list of member names to numbers.

It's a lot of cars so it's going to take a while. Working on it off and on right now.

Stumpy's portable weather station showed 105 degrees right near the starting line before eliminations started at 1:30.

Nothing new about that. But yea, ain't it cool!

I wish I had brought that shot of NOS and run the SP class. It probably would have been close, but it also could have been a bolt-on car for the win! :D

Karl,

You are right, next time I'll sign up for Supernatural as well. My 13.03's were not bad, considering the weather!!!

Yes yes. You should have run the car and certainly shook things up in the ladder.

And to DaStump, I think Super Pro was actually won by a bolt on car, (with nitrous).

Oh, I have Bracket (Super Sport) class A posted now.

Looks like everyone had a great time. The times and MPH do look low, well some of them at least.
105, welcome to my world of DA.
What was the Da there during the day?

No **** Bobo! Can't wait to see what you run in Atlanta in November weather. You da man! Smokin' SS sure knows how to set the bar high for us other folk in East TN. Glad to see you and Terry do well. I need to find out what exactly you guys are doing and follow "near suit". I think Terry kicked me away from his mentorship, too rebellious I think. Looking for a protoge'?

You are not a "protege" if you don't listen. (Unless you are a Mazda). :D

What if you want to have your name removed so everyone doesn't know how bad you did? :D

I lost 2 races by a total of 0.027 seconds. :(

Damn Terry. I didn't realize your misfortune that day. Those were two close races.

Happy Freakin Fathers Day, right?

That's what I was saying to myself after handing the win to Mike. At least his kids and wife were there so HE had a happy Fathers Day!

I guess it's just all gearing up towards next year being your year baby!
