Well there you go. Mid-Ohio is a killer road course. There are a couple of walls like Road Atlanta but if you can stay off the concrete it would be a great course to run. Still pretty centrally located. I'd go for it.
It would only "be sick" because you could commute from your house and have a convenient ride. Thats the exact attitude that makes it suck for everyone trying to figure it out. I drove to the Poconos and it was no big deal (5-6 hours maybe)...I drive to Georgia every november and it's not really a big deal either...takes about 13-14 hours to get home if we try...I woulda gone to Indy if it wasn't the one weekend that I REALLY REALLY want to be around home for a different big car event...I'm probably just going to wind up sucking it up and doing the nationals and local stuff every other year...I honestly don't care where the event is...half the fun of owning a car and taking it to a big event like the nationals is the caravan across the country with a bunch of hillarious meatballs that are just as dumb as I am (to think a big 4 door sedan is a performance car). NH would suck for lots of reasons (the first of which being that NED is run by a bunch of idiots and the facility really sucks compared to some of the other tracks in the country...NHIS is cool...but it's nothing spectacular). MA would suck just as bad...THIS is why there should be big regional events...look at SSHS6...how many people go there for that...it's a drag event on the east coast...imagine if we had some big autocross somewhere else and something else some other place...I gotta go workOriginally posted by White93ltz:

Loudon would be sick, but I just cant imagine it ever happening.

But, I've already said that 350K times and it hasn't been listened too yet.

I'll second Ed, and Bill. What Paul said.Originally posted by toomanytoyz:
I like Indy or St. Louis as the realistic choices.
I'm also for having at the SAME spot for at least a few years, so we can plan our trips accordingly.
