Finally...someone "breaks the news"!

2011 - 50th Anniversary of the Impala SS

Looking forward to it!
That is awesome, Don please say that we are going to gather on a bigger spot than the one you guys reserve for the cruise LOL, I think that we are going to need it.

50th Anniversary of the Imp huh, is there something in the works to get GM involved? As well as I have a friend that works for Eaton's supercharger division that maybe be able to get us a leg in to Eatons booth, not sure, but it would be worth a try.
Cool! I'll get these dates on the calendar and schedule everything else around it so I can be there.
to keep up with new updates and developments with MISSL check out our site www.missl.org there is a section on there dedicated to the 2011 NATIONALS
We have 80 Dream Cruise parking spots reserved with an option to expand to 120.
Really DAMN I didn't think that it was that big where you guys were at, it has been a few years though since I had been there. I will see you this year though, :)
Probably I'm out. That's about 3,ooo miles round trip for me....not sure any of my junk could even drive that far, race and then make it back home. Sure do want to meet some of you guys though. Maybe I can fly in like BK, Paul and Noel did to Hossfest. Got to really think this over. Detroit? Michigan?

Flying in is for suckas.
I am going to fly in, straight down I94 BAHAHA
LOL! Yeah Mike, you're one of the guys I'd like to meet.....got to think on it some. Anybody ever try towing a B body with an Escalade? Might try that a little bit locally and see what happens.
Hell, it's only a few miles for me! I'll definitely be there :D I'll even pay for a membership for this one even though I don't drive a b-body anymore. But maybe I'll have a new Town Car for you guys to make fun of lol.
I know some HERD guys are already talking about going, myself included

Did it in an Avalanche to OK City for the 2003 Nationals.

The Avalanche did great but it was scary......mostly because I used a crappy U-Haul trailer.

If there's ever a 'next time', I'll know better!

You guys are definitely going to want to make the trip to this event. No matter what its doing, rain or shine, its guaranteed to be a great time.
...somebody say shine?........

I'm planning on coming. I might be able to come this year.

Chris
The idiots running the school districts in Ohio keep making school start earlier and earlier. My kids go back starting August 17 next year. I was thinking about showing my displeasure by keeping my kids home. ISSCA Nationals in MI makes that more likely.
Detroit? Ehhhh... Don't think I'll be taking my car anywhere near that town.
The Dream Cruise is actually from Detroit to Pontiac. We park in Pontiac. There's quite a few ways to get here, most go through Detroit but you would be going 70 MPH anyways. By the time you realized you were in Detroit, you'd be out.
I plan to attend, especially since its my birthday!
