I wanted to let everyone know up front about the car show...there have been some pretty major changes.

First, the good news. Out of 59 cars registered for the show, 32 of them are slated to win trophies. That's pretty generous. (Of course your car MUST attain a minimum of 100 points to win a trophy. You can't get one by default).

The other news is that we combined the 2 middle show classes into 1 class: "STREET" so it's now STOCK - STREET - MODIFIED. Also, if there are only a few cars in a class, we won't be giving out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 2 cars in a class, 1 trophy. 3 cars in a class, 2 trophies. 6+ cars in a class, 3 trophies.

Here are the cars we have registered in each category for Nats. As you can see, some categories had no entries so we didn't buy a trophy for that class. Hopefully no one will show up for those classes but that's why they should have pre-registered.

Registered cars for Nats:

Non-Impala B-Body

Mileage -----> 0-50K 50-100K 100-150K 150K+

Stock -------->....2.......0...............0...........2
Street -------->....1......3................1...........1

Modified ----->....0......1................1...........3

Impala SS B-Body

Mileage ----> 0-50K 50-100K 100-150K 150K+
Stock ------->....4.......2.............1............ 0
Street ------->...6.......7..............9.............3
Modified----->...1.......2..............2.............7

Hell, I don't even know what I registered my car as for the car show. This will be my first one hah! It should be somewhere in the 150k+ group. Suprised we didn't have more car show entries.

Cant wait! U better get on the ball BK. I should be in the area NLT 1pm. Going to pack things up now.

Yes. Most of us will be road racing but we have volunteers to do check-ins Thursday 8-10am and 3-7pm. Also 8-10am Friday for those just coming for the car show.

Jon Moss will ONLY be around Friday at the car show. I think he's signing autographs from 12pm-2pm for $5 a pop.

I'm just about ready to go...I just gave my buddy Jesse a new 'do for the road. How's my skillz?

The area of Auburn Hills. I'm staying with my buddy, so I won't be at the host hotel. And wednesday I'll be rolling in.

LOL, can't wait to see Jesse with that hairdo.
Looking forward to meeting up with you all tonight. Mentally prepping myself for the grueling 45 minute drive.
Friday can't come soon enough. See you bastards this weekend!
I expect a full report from all attending, plus pictures......:D
We'rrreee Herrreee! No pics yet. (The suspense builds for you losers who aren't showing up):p
I just cruised the hotel parking lot. Lots of fast cars, fancy cruisers, and bad *ss cars.
The weather looks good and people seem to be having fun.

Major shout-out to all the ISSCA and MISSL folks and attendees:

WHAT A GREAT FRIGGIN EVENT!!!!

MANY WONDERFUL MEMORIES.
If we do this again next year, let me suggest the Drury Inn nearby. The V forum is loaded with vids of parking lot burnouts in the hotel "pit area". At the very least, we should check out prospective hotels for existing burnout evidence before choosing.
