I'm not good at drumming up excitement, but here are the basics!

Tuesday 7/23 - Check-In / Registration
* Pick up your goody bag at the host hotel listed above
* Tuesday Evening, there will be a Mandatory Novice Drivers meeting for anyone that has never been on hot track with other cars

Wednesday 7/24 - Road Race
* Mandatory driver's meeting at the track before racing starts
* Be sure you have long-sleeves and long pants, and a current valid helmet
* Evening late registration at the hotel

Thursday 7/25 - Auto Cross
* Required driver's meeting before racing starts

Friday 7/26 - Swap Meet and Drag Racing
* Morning swap meet -- bring parts you have for sale (not vendor booths) or pick up something you need
* Drag Racing is part of test-and-tune. Required driver's meeting before racing starts!

Saturday 7/27 - Car Show, Sound-Off, Awards Banquet
* Car show across the street from PNC Park
* Awards show and banquet at the host hotel; expect some raffles and giveaways!

Why is the Car Show located so far from the host hotel?

To me 20 miles isn't that far. Every year is a balancing act between the best venues,their availability,cost,etc,etc... To stay in nice hotels,one must go where the nice hotels are,and their cost,availability,etc,etc... Usually drag strips are a drive because that is the nature of them. Many if not most of the smaller,regional ones are out in the countryside away from everything.
