I'd like to know if anyone has run a 255/45/18 tire on a 18x9.5 wheel and they had any issues with setup.

Not I.

My 18"x9.5" rims are wrapped by 285/40 tires :D .

They're stock SS height, BTW ;) .

Not quite, but 255/50/18 fit well on a 9" wheel.

Thanks. I have 285/40 on the rear. I had them on the front too but the rubbing issues piss me off so I figured i get something a little narrower and still have the same height all around. The wheels are Corvette wagon style and they're on my Fleetwood.

What.....rubbing on the fenders or rubbing on the sway bar?

If rubbing on the sway bar, that's gonna happen with the 255's, too.

BTW....the 255's should be fine on the 9.5: rims; which are the widest rims most of those tires are spec'ed for.

They do rub the swaybar but only at full lock, but thats not my complaint. Rubbing on the inner fender when turning or on the road when hitting expansion joints or holes.

My 9" wide have 5.5" back space. They rub the swaybar like yours, but nothing on the fender.
