I have 3.73s in my SS and love them. Am considering putting 3.73s in my wagon (instead of the 3.42s sitting in the box in my basement). Other than the best ratio for towing, my concern is that the wagon cargo area naturally amplifies noise and vibrations. I use the wagon for long trips at a steady 80-85 mph. Has anyone put 3.73s in their wagon and found that the noise from the extra revs was too much for the long haul?

In my case I am 100% happy with my 3.73s
I have the stock wagon driveshaft which is thinner wall than the SS-9C1
I set the gearset quite tight at .0025
( comes from the old side stepping the clutch days)
The gears are silent.
I just came back from a 180 mile round trip, much of it over 80 mph and not a sound from the back end.
Others will have different feelings but I am pleased with the choice. Gerry
