How hard is it to put a 383 into a 96 BBB. What kind of mods will need to made. And is it worth the challenge.

Or should I just stick with the stock LT1 and just get it built for power

same effort as putting in a 350 rebuilt. .030 bore = 355 ci. a 383 aka 'stroker" is same .030 over bore but with a longer piston "stroke" so that increased measurement now is 383 ci.

again as far as swaping it in a 96....same as any LT1 block motor.

"supporting mods" are what would be beyond the motor. intake, exhaust, TC, built tranny, gears ALL help allow engine performance modifications get to the ground.
