I'm getting ready to do a 6.0 swap. I've been looking at the D1SC procharger and was wondering why don't we see alot of people go pro charged on the LS with our cars? I'm still looking into options and opinions so, I figured to ask.

The main reason is probably finding an off the shelf kit that would work on an LS swapped B-body...since the truck accessory kit is pretty well known as an almost direct fit, I suppose it is possible that a truck Procharger kit might work. Looks like it positions it up and outside the alternator. Otherwise, if you have fab skills, you could make your own bracket system.

I've seen those and that's what gave me the idea. I also ran into a guy two weeks ago that pieced together a kit with a d1sc charger in a older chevy with a 6.0 I think I might run with this idea.
He put a ls6 intake, blower cam, rods, spring, gapped the rings, put in 05 connecting rods and pistons. He runs 10.65 in the 1/4 with that set up

Older chevy would be easier than the B-body unless you are willing to do away with ABS and/or all creature comforts. Problem is going to be finding an off the shelf bracket that will work to put the head unit in a place where it isn't interfering with something else. Also, you will need to fab up a charge piping system and intercooler mounting. That is probably the easiest part...

That's a good point. Deleting the abs isn't that much of an issue for me. I deleted the ac unit. I've also seen these kits for the GTO's. So, my main bump in the road seems to be the bracket for the head unit. I'm on my way to some more research.

Again, the truck front accessory system seems to be the OEM system that fits the best on the B-body. You can mix and match truck and car accessory systems without modification because they are spaced out from the engine differently.

If you are willing to delete all the ABS stuff, there is a decent chance the truck bracket system will work. You'd have to mock it up to make sure, but it would probably be the best option.

I see they also have an "LS Transplant" kit. This bracket could work, although it might sit too high..
