This was awile ago so i probably stated wrong. I do know though that he replaced all sensors that have to do with the cluster along with a few others trying to solve the problem since the first few didn't.<I've been told it is no longer a mechanical speedometer that it is controled by the computer now. I've had all the sensors that can be replaced, replaced. 5 in all i think he said. I think my friend said this included under the hood, in the dash, and in the rear end.>
Correct in tha the speedo is now an electronic driven unit. There is a sensor on the tailshaft of the tranny, nothing but an ABS sensor on the rear end. There are no sensors under the hood that control the speedo. The only other device is a module attached to the very top of the convenience center (where the flashers are). Then the speedo unit itself.
So i guess i will be swapping out the entire cluster then. Hopefully this will solve my problem so i can put a sign on it.
Whats a fair price for a cluster from a small town upull junky junkyard lol.
