i checked online on parts america online and came up with 3 different radiators for the 91 with an LO5, and one # for the 4bbl 370 out of an 87....
does this mean (for sure) that they are different, if so how different? or would it just be in a different box??
Someone out there must have a boxy and an early 90's 9C1!!!
TIA

They will fit, with a teeny weeny little bit of work.

I put a '70 4 core (extra thick) in my old wagon. It's not quite as wide as my original 91 and doesn't have the oil cooler. I had to drill a bigger drain hole in the cross brace and trim the shroud. Otherwise, it fits perfectly and you couldn't tell it wasn't stock. I now run 165 all day long, unless I'm towing. In either case, it's
way too cool!

The space for a radiator is the same in the square B-Bodies as is it in the round B-Bodies. So yes, the '87 radiator will fit in the '91 car.

But the '91 radiator, stock for stock is a better piece. The radiators used in the round B-Bodies have a larger frontal area than the ones found in a sqaure B-Body. This is due to the much smaller grill area of the round B-Bodies compared to the square B-Bodies.

For a winter beater these differences may not matter much though.
