I've searched this forum and others and can come up with no definite answer. Will old truck rally wheels 15x8 5x5 with 4" backspacing and 235/60/15 tires fit on the front and rear of a 1992 Caprice? Every thread I find gets hijacked by round fendered cars. To be honest I could not care less if they will fit your 93 and up car. I also don't care about speculation. I would like a definitive answer and pics if possible. Thanks.

If I missed a thread and my question has been answered a 1,000 times please point me there.

ON a sedan, NO. The backspacing is too low. 4.5 could pull it off. I remember the hell I caught trying to squeeze a 15x8 vette rally with the same backspacing under a skirt car. We ended up running 225/70R15's and cutting the lip under the fender.
Wagons are different from the skirted sedans.

Correct. I just got the wheels today. Put one on the rear and it's barely 1/16" away from the lip on the fender. I don't have tires yet. I'm going to have to work on the lip too.

There is so much BS misinformation in all these forums all over the internet. I bought the truck rallys because I read in a 100 places that they will fit no problem. Obviously a lot of answers come from kids and people that don't even have the car. Like the list of cars a lot of people have in their sig. If you don't show me your face with todays newspaper in front of those cars then BS you don't own sh*t.

Also I should have put in my original post that I don't care about your wagon either. I did not ask if they will fit a wagon.

Guess what? I couldn't give a **** about your piece of crap Roadmaster, either, NOOB. Those rallies are on that wagon for a trip to the junkyard. Sorry for trying to help. Good luck with your anger management classes. Perhaps you should start your own no BS forum, since we're not much help around here.

Don't let the door hit you in the ass.

Soo....you asked a question without giving all the needed information to get an informed or experienced answer and you decided to get mad and throw a mini-tantrum because you got responses from people literally trying to help you. Not to mention Firewood (who probably knows more about wheel fitment on all 91-96 B and D-bodies than the rest of us combined) gave you the answer. Good luck to you.

Really dude? Its not at all unreasonable to think that a skirted sedan and wagon would have the same clearance issues and only a few people would know that wagon bodies are actually wider...So Jay Was just offering some well intended help. But I see from your first post you walked in here with an attitude.
That's a great way to get banned.
How about a thanks but that doesn't apply to my vehicle? cwm5
