I've searched this forum and others and can come up with no definite answer. Will old truck rally wheels 15x8 5x5 with 4" backspacing and 235/60/15 tires fit on the front and rear of a 1992 Caprice? Every thread I find gets hijacked by round fendered cars. To be honest I could not care less if they will fit your 93 and up car. I also don't care about speculation. I would like a definitive answer and pics if possible. Thanks.

If I missed a thread and my question has been answered a 1,000 times please point me there.

ON a sedan, NO. The backspacing is too low. 4.5 could pull it off. I remember the hell I caught trying to squeeze a 15x8 vette rally with the same backspacing under a skirt car. We ended up running 225/70R15's and cutting the lip under the fender.
Wagons are different from the skirted sedans.

Correct. I just got the wheels today. Put one on the rear and it's barely 1/16" away from the lip on the fender. I don't have tires yet. I'm going to have to work on the lip too.

There is so much BS misinformation in all these forums all over the internet. I bought the truck rallys because I read in a 100 places that they will fit no problem. Obviously a lot of answers come from kids and people that don't even have the car. Like the list of cars a lot of people have in their sig. If you don't show me your face with todays newspaper in front of those cars then BS you don't own sh*t.

Also I should have put in my original post that I don't care about your wagon either. I did not ask if they will fit a wagon.
