First post, good to meet everyone,
I've brought this Brougham to life from near death, previous owners never took care of it, but they did convert it to R134. Now it needs the A/C system gone through. Replacing everything but since R134 runs at a higher pressure will the high and low pressure switches for the R12 work for this conversion? Are there switches available to install with different pressure settings for R134?

Looks like the R134 clutch cycling switch uses different pressure to run the compressor, and it doesn't cost much:

The existing cycling switch should have a set screw between the two terminals that adjust the pressure point.
Ah, THAT's cool! Never noticed before, and wandering the internet I now see there's a lot on adjusting the cycling switch. Thanks for the tip.
