Hey, my 94 roadmaster blows the ABS fuse the second you push the pedal down. Is this a common problem or has anyone had similar issues?

If anyone knows what might be the culprit I'd like to know it.

Thanks!

Obviously you have a short. I would check the wiring first for any frayed wires or broken/worn insulation. This could be anywhere from the module under the dash to the pump module in the engine compartment. You could try removing the connector from the pump module, and determine if it is that unit to start with. If it continues to blow the fuse, at least you have eliminated a very expensive part.

If it continues to blow the fuse when you have the pump module disconnected, look around the brake pedal assembly for pinched wires.
