I've owned the car since purchasing it at suction when it had 47k miles. Mileage is now 115k. The car is very clean but the rear end has recently started poping (it has a posi diff). I assume I'm a victum of the defective diff gasket. I changed the diff fluid but issue is still there. Car has a standard white ext/ blue int, has cut out for spot and push bumpers which I have. Passanger front fender needs repair/replaced as I hooked it one of those gas pump protection post. I've always replaced any parts with GM/AC Delco parts (car has new AC/Delco H2o pump) and used mobile 1 full syn with oil changes. Paint is in good condition. Car has zero rust as it was a Texas car before moving to Oklahoma. I've all records for the car since new & factory shop manuals. If not for the diff issue I'm thinking around $2k would be fair. Please let me know your thoughts as to what would be a fair asking price given the rear end issue.

Hi there, it would help a lot if you posted pictures, based upon what you have written, it might be hard to get the 2k seriously. The market has tanked for these cars badly. I don't think it would hurt to ask 2k and be willing to settle for 1500 to 1750 I know it sucks but the market just is not there any more. If it makes you feel any better this year I sunk 1950 into my car for maintenance and repairs. If I were to list it for sale I would really pleasantly surprised if I got more than that for it.

VMCNEAL - thanks for the response. By looking at what similiar shape ones to mine are going for on ebay, I figured if mine did not have the diff issue it would bring 1500 to 2k. I figure to get the diff fixed it would be around 1k. At any rate, it is amazing the amount of cheap performance these cars provide some 14 yrs and 100k miles later.
