My guess is crunk is running.. In that event, the backfire USUALLY indicates low fuel pressure and the slow die out. Run a fuel pressure test. Is the check engine light on while it is running?

It wouldn't be a bad idea to go to the pcm diagnostic section here and open my thread and follow the link to the other forum and download the new tool out for 94-95 lt1's. ABS and SIR sections are for F body only, but all the engine and transmission stuff is in good order. Then go get yourself a cable and be able to diagnose the car yourself with help from people here and get it fixed the right way.

Also fill out your user CP, a local member might be willing to lend a hand in person.

Yes crunk means running lol i will get better on not using slang on here but yes the check engine light is on but theres plenty of fuel in the tank still and it runs fine until the engine warms and then it chokes itself on out especially when i try to hit the throttle it shuts off but keep in mind i can give it all the throttle i want once its at a cold start
