Someone please tell me whether or not the 92 9c1 gauge cluster has different wiring then the my 92 roadmaster, I wanna know if it is just plug and play, and if it does require changing the wires can someone supply me with the wiring diagrams for a 92 caprice 9c1 and a 92 roadmaster.

Only people I have spoke to have changed them out in caprices, But my cluster is more detailed so I am wondering if it will be as complex.

Why do you want to swap out the clusters? The main reason people swap them out in the Caprice's is to gain a tach(get the digital speedo too with the 9C1). There are a couple of guys running the Olds Cust.Cruiser guage cluster in their Caprices too(has a tach with an ANALOG speedo like your Buick). The RM dash is shaped differently at the top too so I am not sure if they will even interchange unless a complete dash swap was performed...

the 92 9C1 cluster fits beautifully in a 91-93 RM. I did it on mine when I had it. The wiring is COMPLETELY different. I just got another set of connectors, two of each gender, and made a plug-n-play adapter. you will need the wiring harness pinout for both clusters.

Well worth it. I loved mine. I just wanted more power, so i returned the car to stock and traded it in on a 94 LT1 chevy wagon.
