I've noticed a few posts about purchasing 9C1s but none mention CA. Anyone know a good source?

CrowSS,

Thanks for the website. I emailed Robert and I am going to try and get up there this Friday.

Thanks again,

Hey Keith,

Can you please tell me a little more about your 9C1.

What kind of shape was it in?

Were the spotlights and antennas already removed and holes patched?

How clean was the interior?

How has it treated you since you've owned it?

I know every car is different but I'm just curious. Robert doesn't have any right now, but I am supposed to contact him early next week.

Thanks again and in advance.

RelivSS,

What kind of shape was it in?

Well.. It was pretty ugly. It was a long beach car and had just regular steels on it. No police wheels. Ugly green and blue stripes. It needed paint and body work. It needed tranny work. Looked like the water pump was replaced recently. None of the taxi-cab companies wanted to buy it. I was kind-of sweatin cause of that. Then I started to look closer and realized it was a jem that needed a little buffing. it had 98K on the speedo.

Were the spotlights and antennas already removed and holes patched?

No. All of that was on there. Robert removed all of those and pathced all the holes to my satisfaction. Although you could get better bodywork done at a bodyshop or opt to wait for an undercover car.

How clean was the interior?

Not clean as with most straight from the auction cars. It has the rubber floor mat and a vinyl back seat. It cleaned up pretty good though.

How has it treated you since you've owned it?

This is where my smile gets the biggest :D
This car has run excellent. I had to make the normal repairs such as heater core, tighten some bolts, reconnect the interior lights etc. but it runs great!! It really has got guts and I am not afraid to merge, pass on the freeway at all!

Here's the deal. Robert made me a good deal on this car. He did some extra work for me. I wish I had pics to post cause I got before and after shots. I may get him to put them up on his site if I cant get them scanned and posted. If you see the difference then you will see it was a good deal!

By the way, he had a sweet DGGM undercover with LT1. It was clean! No spots, attenas at all! I just couldnt afford it or I would have gotten it! I was running on a super limited budget. But I must say I do not regret gettin the one I did. I dont think there is enough room on my face to fit the look of glee.

Keith,

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. I'm really anxious to talk to Robert next week to see what he gets in.

Hopefully there will be something I like and can afford. I'm on a somewhat limited budget also.

Thanks again,
Peter
