A 75,000 mile V4P has taken a bath ...

I don't have hard data for 1995 (or 1996, and I've looked far and wide for them), but the actual figure for 1994 was posted on the CF by @FleetwoodAddict here:


In 1994, a mere 713 Fleetwood/FWB came with the V4P Trailering Package with 3.42 axle, out of 27,473 produced. That is less than 3%.

Note that an additional 904 FW/FWB came equipped with the (less desirable, IMHO) V92 package with 2.93 axle in 1994. The total with either TP was thus 1,617/27,473 = 5.9%.

PS: I doubt that the numbers are much higher for 1995, as the info for 1993 shows 2,505 FW/FWB (out of a total of 31,777 produced) had the V4P package. AFAIK, there was no V92 package for 1993 (mentioning this just in case your adjuster mentions the 2,505 figures). So that's 6.9% of the 1993s with the TP. See here:

There is a white 1996 FWB with V4P package for sale on CL in Dallas, TX. 101,580 miles, $10.9k ask. Here are some photos of 1G6DW52P4TR704115 for records (car looks clean, but AFAIK the wheel covers are not correct for a Brougham). From the ad:

V4Ps are few and far between, but here is another one that went up for sale 4 days ago on FB in Chicago, IL. It looks in excellent shape cosmetically, I see no rust, and it has a mere 34.5k miles: the ask is $15k. From the ad (with punctuation edited for readability):

"Super clean, no rust. Garage kept (...) Still has that new car smell, everything works, just needs a new Home. Price is FIRM."

PS: I do note that the side bolster of the drivers seat seems to have been repaired, which is surprising given the low miles. Perhaps the driver used the car for lots of short trips and/or was in city traffic for long hours without moving much).

At the lower end of the market, here is a 1994 FWB with towing package for sale on CL in Long Island, NY. I don't have the RPO tag and so do not know for sure whether it has the V4P or V92 package but, if I had to guess, I'd say Brougham with V4P.

The car has a number of issues (what's with the missing moldings and the goop on the vinyl top, the cracked dash, the ripped-up driver panel, the incorrect driver's seat, the wires hanging from the dash), but the exterior seems surprisingly rush-free for a Northeast car with 123k miles. If so, then the asking price of $2.5k looks like a bargain.
